Lynne has successfully completed her probationary period and is now fully a Shodan - Black Belt first degree. Pictured below is Lynne with son Brent and Daughter Dana.

| EIGHT NEW BLACK BELTS ! |

EMAC Canada's National Black Belt Grading was held in Ottawa, at Eastwind Budo Life. Eight brown belts from the Napanee Karate Club were promoted to Black Belt. They are pictured below right after the grading: 
Front row Thomas Oulton, Calvin Silva, Molly Gastle, Ken Dunphy, Vanderli Silva, Andrew Martin, Spencer Readman, and Back Row left Dean Martin.
Attending, supporting their dojo mates, and taking part in the grading are back row second from left Richard Welsman, Ed Gastle, Sensei Brian Lowry, Barry Gulley, Mijra Gulley.
A few days later, 14 of our 15 Black Belts gathered to celebrate:
